The Li Lab is officially established as of July 1, 2026 in the Aging + Cardiovascular Discovery Center at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. 

Our Research aims to elucidate cellular crosstalk during cardiac regeneration. We study how the post-injury microenvironment evolve and facilitate either reparative or pathologic remodeling, specifically through cardiomyocyte-fibroblast-immune cell-cell interactions. We utilize cutting-edge transcriptomic and proteomic approaches combined with various in vivo models to address these questions.
